Yes, always. Searching, saving jobs, job alerts and applying are free. No employer on UB1UB2 Jobs is allowed to ask you for money to apply or to get a job. If one does, please report it.

No. You can create a simple profile instead (a few lines about you, your experience and when you can work) and apply with that. If you do have a CV, you can attach it too.

Create your profile

No. You can apply without one. If you sign in with your email (we send a 6-digit code, no password), we save your profile so next time applying is one tap, and you can save jobs and see what you’ve applied for in My jobs.

Search for what you want, then tap Alerts. We email you when a new job matches, straight away or once a day. We ask you to confirm your email first, and every alert email has a one-tap link to stop it.

Open the job and follow the steps. Depending on the employer, you apply with your profile or CV through us, or by email, phone, WhatsApp, their website, or by walking in. Your details go only to that employer.

It means we’ve checked the business behind the job is real: we’ve spoken to them, matched them to their Companies House record, or we know them. UB1UB2 Card partners have it automatically. Every advert is checked before it goes live, with or without the tick.

Tap “Report this job” at the bottom of any job page, or contact us. We look at every report. Never pay to apply, and never share bank details before you have an offer.

A Standard advert is £35 and Featured is £75, both for 4 weeks, including VAT. It’s a one-off payment, not a subscription. UB1UB2 Card members and partners get 20% off adverts. UB1UB2 Card partners: your first Standard advert is free until 31 January 2027.

You can add an Instagram story on @ub1ub2 for £100. If you post often, monthly plans start at £59 a month.

4 weeks. We email you before it ends, and you can close it early at any time if you’ve filled the job.

Within minutes of payment, once it passes our checks. If anything needs a closer look, a person checks it, usually within a few hours. We email you when it’s live.

Yes. From your advert’s page you can edit the description, the skills and the pay extras, and close it or take it down. To change the job title, pay or place, post it again as a new advert (it’s quick with “Post a similar job”).

You choose when you post: through us (with profiles and CVs in your dashboard, and an email for each applicant or a daily summary), or by email, phone, WhatsApp, your website or walk-ins.

Yes. Extend it for 4 weeks more from your advert’s page: £25 Standard or £55 Featured, with 20% off for Card members and partners. You can extend it as many times as you like.

Add your Companies House number when you post a job (sole traders can skip it) and we’ll check it, or we may give you a quick call. Once you’re verified, the tick shows on all your jobs. UB1UB2 Card partners get it automatically.

You get a full refund, and we email you the reason so you can fix it and post again. Common reasons are pay under the legal minimum, missing details, or wording that could put people off because of age, sex, race, religion or disability.
